This was an interesting job search question: “I asked (Linkedin customer support) how to add a recommendation from someone who chooses not to be on LinkedIn. A couple of times per week, I’ll get a candidate Linkedin introduction request that’s self-destructive. What’s strange to me is that the candidate doesn’t even realize that if I did what they requested, they would look terrible in the reader’s eyes.
